Northumberland County Council provides local government support and services to 300,000. CMDC worked in partnership with the Council's Training and Development staff to devise a bespoke management development programme for middle managers.
Northern Rock is one of the UK's largest financial institutions providing a wide range of financial products including mortgages, insurance and banking services. Based in the North East of England, the company entered into a mutually beneficial partnership with Newcastle Business School in 1999 and has supported many of their staff through our prestigious postgraduate management programmes.
Sure Start Northumberland Childcare and Early Education support providers of childcare and early education in both the maintained and PVI sectors. Support to providers was extended in September 2005 through a partnership between Sure Start Northumberland and the CMDC of Newcastle Business School.
As a result of an exciting partnership with Newcastle Business School, British soldiers are now able to study remotely for an undergraduate level Certificate and Diploma in Applied Management. The flexible, specially-designed programme covers a range of theoretical and practical issues to equip senior non-commissioned officers with a thorough understanding of managerial issues that will enable them to be more effective in their current roles and compete with civilian candidates when they leave the Army.
Employing nearly 200,000 staff and with an annual turnover of $4bn, steel producer Severstal is one of the largest companies in Russia and has a successful global reach stretching across Europe and America. In a relationship spanning ten years, Severstal has forged close links with Newcastle Business School and sponsored many talented employees through a range of our management programmes.
Zurich Financial Services Ltd. is an insurance-based financial services provider covering countries across Europe and North America. CMDC has worked in partnership with the organisation by enhancing and improving First Line Managers' skills with a flexible
diploma that successfully builds on the foundation of the
organisation's own in-house managerial development
programme.
Durham City Council provides local government support and services to over 88,000 residents. The Council approached CMDC to devise a bespoke management development course for middle managers.
The Northumberland Strategic Partnership (NSP) represents over 40 organisations in Northumberland including Northumberland County Council (NCC), all district councils, Northumberland National Park, Northumberland Health Care Trust, and several large and small voluntary organisations. In an ambitious £100,000 partnership between the NSP and Northumbria University, a series of learning programmes were devised to create a unified approach to delivering social and economic growth in the area.
Gateshead Council provides local government support and services to the 200,000 residents. In 2003 the Council developed a new management competency framework and tendered for trainers to deliver development solutions to support its introduction. CMDC were selected to deliver the framework.
